I didn't like the heroine.
Aren't we supposed to? Aren't we supposed to root for whomever the book is about to be happy and to live happily ever after? Maybe I'm not supposed to like her. I haven't figured it out as of yet. She was vain, spoiled, and bratty. She didn't want her friends to have anything she didn't, including families. She thought that she knew better for those around her than they did.
I really wanted to smack this chick. But then I've been like that a lot lately.
